Terms & Conditions of application:

By using our website or submitting an application form you agree to the following, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy:

  • You the applicant agree that the information that you enter is true and correct.
  • You need to be 18 years of age or over.
  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • Provide full details of an address in South Africa for the performance or delivery of the Services.
  • We may share your personal information with our preferred credit partners, and/or obtain information about you from third parties for the purposes of credit reference or checking if you are eligible for a loan.
  • You the applicant agree that a credit check and all necessary checks may be conducted by ourselves or our business partners and financial houses for full application review purposes.
  • We may check your details with Credit Reference Agencies, fraud prevention agencies. If you provide false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this.
  • You the applicant understand that all loan applications are subject to income & expense and employment confirmation.
  • By submitting the Application form, you hereby state that you understand these terms and conditions.
  • If your loan is per-qualified, you will be notified within 24hours and we will request that you submit relevant documentation.
  • By Completing our online application form, WA Financial Services does not guarantee a successful loan application.
  • You should also read the loan agreement terms and conditions before accepting your loan.
  • If your personal loan application is approved, then the loan agreement will be between you and WA Financial Services.

Privacy policy:

COLLECTING YOUR DATA:

  • We collect your information in two ways:
    • Directly from your application;
    • From external sources, such as credit bureaus and customer service providers.
  • WA Financial Services may use data that identifies your personal information for a number of things, including:
    • Statistical analysis;
    • To develop and improve our products;
    • To assess lending risks;
    • To update your records;
    • To identify which of our products might interest you;
    • To identify and prevent fraud, money laundering and other criminal activities;
    • To carry out regulatory checks, keeping you informed about your loan, and for market research;

 Additional data collection:

WA Financial Services may collect information about your computer, namely, where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type. We will use this information for the purpose of system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertising partners. This allows us to have a better understanding of our customers’ requirements and/or preferences by using cookies to track users as they travel from website to website, recording what commercial advertisements they view and select while browsing the internet.
This is statistical data about browsing actions and patterns, which does not identify any individual. In addition, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies enable WA Financial Services to improve the service offered to you, assist in estimating our audience size and usage patterns, help store information about your preferences and recognise you when you return to our site.
You can set your web browser to refuse cookies. If you do this, you may not be able to enjoy the full use and functionality of our site, and you may not be able to take advantage of certain promotions that we may run from time to time.

Sharing your data:

WA Financial Services shares the data you submit with third parties involved in the process of providing the services you request, for example: credit bureaus, collection agencies, lenders and customer service providers. WA Financial Services maintains trusted relationships with these third parties, whom perform services on our behalf. All service providers are bound by contract to preserve the confidentiality and security of your personal information and are restricted in their use thereof as per this Privacy Policy. The service provider is required to immediately notify us when there are grounds to believe that there has been unauthorised access and/or activity relating to your personal information.

By signing the document and/or clicking the “I Accept” box beneath the loan agreement and direct debit mandate, you agree that we may disclose your personal information:

  • If we have a duty to disclose your personal information in order to comply with a legal request, or in order to enforce any of our terms and conditions; and/or
  • In relation to the implementation, administration and/or enforcement of any agreement entered into with WA Financial Services.

Language policy:

The official loan is done in English, however our consultants will assist clients in English, Afrikaans and Tswana.

Complaints policy:

Terms and Definitions:

Complaint:  An expression of dissatisfaction relating to a policy or service which indicates/alleges, that we-

  • failed to comply with an agreement, a law, a rule, or a code of conduct;
  • had maladministration or wilful/negligent action or omission, that caused the person harm, prejudice, distress or substantial inconvenience;

This can include the:

  • person that pays the premium;

One can therefore summarize a complaint being any dissatisfaction or unfairness with regards to products, marketing, service, administration or claims.

All staff Understand, comply and promote WA Financial Services complaint handling practices.

  • Treat all people with respect, including people who make complaints.
  • Assist people who wish to make a complaint.
  • Be alert to complaints and assist staff handling complaints so that they are resolved promptly.
  • Provide feedback to management on issues arising from complaints.
  • Implement changes arising from individual complaints and from the analysis and evaluation of complaint data as directed by management.

Payment policy:

NON-PAYMENT:

Non-payment of your account will result in an R60 service fee and 5% interest added every month.

If you fail to make payment for two months, your account will be handed over to an external debt collection company.]

Not repaying your loan on time will decrease your credit rating and might make it difficult to qualify for finance at other credit providers in future.

COLLECTIONS are all done via Debit Order every month on the agreed date.
